- An applicant
for admission must be at least 17 years
of age. If the applicant is under 18,
a parent or guardian must sign the application.

- The applicant
must be able to read and understand
course material.

- Applicants
must also be in sound physical health
and mental condition to operate grooming
equipment, and have the patience to
cope with a variety of canine dispositions.
Good health is essential in working
with animals and applicant.

- Must
present evidence of a recent tetanus
inoculation. If you need to get
a tetanus inoculation, call the office.
We can often refer students to a local
physician at a discounted rate.

- Admission
is subject to the approval of the Academy.
You will need to have an interview before
acceptance. If you are interested in
becoming a student, please complete
and return the
Admission Application
with a $100 (nonrefundable) application
fee.

- A representative
of the Academy will call you to arrange
an interview upon receipt of your application.
