The classroom simulates actual working conditions.  Students are taught to professionally style all breeds of dogs and cats with individual instruction given by the instructors. Our "hands on" teaching methods simulate actual working conditions and promotes confidence and knowledge for our students. 

A modern work station is provided for each student. Students are progressively instructed on styling each:

Major breed types include:

  • Sporting dogs 
  • Non-sporting working 
  • Herding 
  • Terrier
  • Toy breeds
  • As well as Cats
Students brush, bathe and air dry their pet in our modern facility.The Academy maintains a comprehensive library to which all students have unlimited access. The library maintains grooming videos, grooming books, and periodicals that are up-to-date in the Pet Industry. Students are permitted to use library resources to compliment classroom lectures and enhance their knowledge. The school has a nonsmoking policy. 
 


The school is a 5,200 sq.ft. air-conditioned facility with a lunchroom. Students are welcome to use the kitchen, microwave, refrigerator to prepare their meals. Students are also within walking distance of various fast food restaurants such as Taco Bell, Burger King, and local family restaurants. Adequate free parking is available in our parking lot.
